One price. Paid as you go.
You pay a fixed amount for each payment we settle for you, from credits you buy in advance. Your customers' payments go to your wallet in full; we never take a cut of them.
- Network fees on Base and Solana are included
- Verifications and failed settlements are free
- No subscription, no setup fee, no minimum per month
- Credits don't expire, and can top up automatically
- Test payments on every test network are free
- Every payment goes in full to your wallet
Top up the way you like.
Credits are kept in euro on your account. Each successful settlement uses €0.002 (€0.001 on Cardano). Every top-up comes with a VAT invoice. We email you before you run low.
From €5
Pay from your browser wallet on Base, settled by Penni itself. Credits arrive as soon as the transfer confirms.
From €20
Checkout by Stripe. Credits are added the moment the payment succeeds. Turn on auto top-up to refill below a threshold you choose.
€20 = 10,000 settlements
At €0.05 a request, that's €500 in payments to your wallet for €20 in credits.
Counted, and not counted.
| Event | Cost | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Settlement on Base or Solana | €0.002 | We check and submit the payment, and pay its network fee. |
| Settlement on Cardano | €0.001 | We check and submit the payment; the payer pays the network fee. |
| Verification | Free | Checking a signature costs us no gas. |
| Failed settlement | Free | If the transfer doesn't go through, you don't pay. |
| Free paths | Free | Paths priced at €0 never reach the facilitator. |
| Test settlements | Free | On Base Sepolia, Solana Devnet and Cardano Preprod, up to 1,000 a day. No credits needed. |
| Dashboard, team, API keys | Free | Unlimited sites and team members. |
The fine print, in plain words.
Why not a percentage of each payment?
Because a fixed fee is easier to plan with and cheaper as your prices go up. A €1 payment and a €0.01 payment cost us the same gas, so they cost you the same €0.002.
Why is there no free tier?
Every settlement costs us real work and, on Base and Solana, a network fee. A free tier means someone else pays for it, usually through higher prices later. We'd rather charge a small, honest amount from the first real payment. Building and testing is free: settlements on the test networks cost nothing, up to 1,000 a day.
What happens when my credits run out?
You choose, per site. Serve for free (default): priced pages are served without payment until you top up. Block: priced pages answer "payments temporarily unavailable" until you top up; free pages keep working. Either way we email you before you run low, and with auto top-up it doesn't have to happen at all.
Can my credits top up automatically?
Yes. Save a card or SEPA Direct Debit mandate through Stripe and choose a threshold and an amount, for example "when my balance drops below €10, add €50". Credits are added as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. The top-up amount is at least the threshold. You set a monthly limit that auto top-up never exceeds, and an optional weekly amount for alerts; we email you at 50%, 75% and 90%, and you can raise this month's limit from the dashboard. If a payment fails, we email you, and after three failures in a row auto top-up switches itself off.
Can I get a refund on unused credits?
Credits don't expire. When you close your account, we pay out the unused balance by bank transfer to the IBAN linked to your account (you can add one in Billing, or when closing).
Do prices include VAT?
Prices exclude VAT. Penni is for businesses: Dutch customers pay 21% VAT; businesses elsewhere in the EU with a VAT number confirmed in VIES are invoiced under the reverse-charge rule; outside the EU no Dutch VAT applies. Every top-up comes with a PDF invoice, downloadable in your dashboard.
