Test and live
Every site runs in test or live mode, decided by the tokens it accepts. Same endpoints, same key, same code.

How the mode is decided
The config API reports the mode of a site in mode:
test: the site accepts only testnet tokens.live: the site accepts only mainnet tokens.mixed: both. Payers choose the network, so anyone could pay for live content with free test tokens. Use this only on purpose.
Keep testing after launch
Add a second site, for example staging.example.eu, that stays in test mode with its own API key. Point your staging environment at that site ID and key.
Try a payment from the dashboard
On a site in test mode, Pay with test tokens pays any path from your browser wallet, exactly as an agent would. It's the quickest way to see the whole flow before you write any client code.
